Real Madrid will use a Castilla striker next season

It’s mind-boggling how unyielding Real Madrid’s management can be. Carlo Ancelotti’s squad has been decimated by injuries for the past month, and it shows in the results. Florentino Perez chose to ignore the situation even though it begged for new signings.

This season, Real Madrid has missed a center forward more than any other position. Karim Benzema’s inconsistent fitness has been in the news a lot, so it’s become clear that the manager has no more options in the position.

The circumstances and skill sets of Mariano Diaz, Rodrygo Goes, or Marco Asensio aren’t suitable for any of them to take over the striker role. This is where the services of Alvaro Rodriguez come into play.

Journalist Rodra P claims that the Castilla striker is in the plans of Real Madrid for next season as Benzema’s backup. Nonetheless, that is not to say that he cannot play a more significant role in the future.\

While the club shows interest in him, they are hesitant to sign him to a first-team contract just yet. The plan is to see how he does with the main team while keeping him under contract with the farm club. His productivity and reliability would determine whether he received a raise.

The Uruguayan, who is just 18 years old, has been on fire recently, scoring goals for fun and for his country. In addition, the manager has noticed him since his first game with the first team.

The forward is making waves at the South American U-20 Championship for the Uruguayan national team’s U-20 squad in Colombia. He currently has 5 goals and 1 assist on the season’s ledger.

There aren’t many players like him on the field. Because he possesses both a commanding physical presence and a deft touch in front of the net. However, his playing style is very dissimilar to that of Real Madrid’s prized striker Karim Benzema.

The young player will play again for Castilla on February 19. He will try to keep impressing Raul and make sure that Ancelotti keeps him on the first team. And his name is Alvaro Rodriguez.
